This watercolor is part of the project "100 encounters in watercolor", in which I'm based on photographys of my own encounters with animals, among other themes.
Based on a maracanã parakeet in Itirapina, SP.

The watercolor seeks to represent an urban scene of a parakeet on a wire, with its unique way of "hanging". It is a common scene, which, like any other urban wildlife, can go unnoticed... but when seen, it never fails to brighten our day.
